DAY 1  ACCRA INN
Transfer to hotel O/N MAGLAB HOTEL
 
DAY 2  ACCRA
Accra became the capital of the Gold Coast in 1877 when the capital was shifted from cape coast.   In Accra one can visit the national museum that host objects from nearly all over Africa. The fantasy COFFIN builders who create elaborate coffins depicting the deceased profession after death,. The coffins could be in forms of anything one can think of, e.g. Bottles,  Fruits, Fish, lobsters, crabs etc,
The  colorful  artisan center where one can buy all kinds of Articrafts.

DAY 3  ACCRA – KOKROBITE
We will visit the fishermen on the coast this morning and in the afternoon we will assist in a cultural troupe drama on the beach.

DAY 4  KOKROBITE – ELMINA
We drive to Cape coast and Elmina this morning to visit the forts and castles that were once the European settlements on the coast . It  is around these forts and castles that the slave trade story is centered. We will visit the most important and the oldest which is the St Georges Castle of Elmina.

DAY 5  ELMINA – KUMASI
We drive through the Cacao plantations and palm oil plantations  to the garden city of Kumasi visiting the processors as we drive by.

DAY 6  KUMASI
The Garden city of Kumasi has two museums which hosts the relics of the Ashanti Kings over the ages. The Kente weaving town of Bonwire and the Artisan villages.

DAY 7  KUMASI – ABURI
A long drive to the ABORITUM of Aburi to visit the botanical garden.
The GARDEN was created In the 19th century by the British by introducing plants from all over the world. Cocoa, which Ghanas first cash crop was also experimented there.

 DAY 8  ABURI – AKOSSOMBO
We will drive through the land of KROBO seeing and visiting their beads making industries that are very much needed for the production of beads for the initiation  of the young Girls. In the afternoon we will navigate on the lake Volta which is the biggest man made lake in the world.

DAY 9  $ 10  AKOSSOMBO KROBOLAND
Oral history has it that =One of the Kings of the Krobo at one time decided to dress up his young daughter who he thought was still a VIRGIN in the palace and present her to the public for any man who might be interested  in marrying her. It turned out that the whole community appreciated the girl and she was showered with gifts of all kinds and thus, she became very RICH to the point that all men in the town wanted to marry her. That was the beginning of the Female initiation in the Krobo land to show, present  and confirm the virgin girls to the public. We will assist in this initiation.

DAY 11   KROBOLAND – HO
Further down the road , our drive takes us to the capital of EWE land where we will visit a very educative museum on the EWE population. The Ewe, originated from a small town in Togo land called NOTSE in the south eastern corner of Togo where they escaped form their very tyrannical king AGOKOLI. On departure , they did not forget to carry with them their religion[VOODOO]
WHICH IS PRACTISED  till today. In the afternoon we will visit a Voodoo shrine at XAVI.

DAY 12  HO – WLI  --AKOSSOMBO
After a short drive today  through the virgin forest  of Ho ,we will take a 45mn walk to  the highest Water fall in the region. We are also allowed to swim in the pool at the fall.

DAY 13   AKOSOBO – ACCRA
We drive back to Accra today for final visits and buying of arts and crafts and transfer to the airport for departure.
