DAY 1 ARRIVAL
Arrival and transfer to hotel
O/N Labadi beach hotel

 DAY 2 ACCRA KUMASI
We drive up to Kumas to assist in a funeral. The Ashanti funeral is very famous in the whole world, in which all attendants to the funeral dresses in Black or red or both colors mixed, which is very unique in our society.

 DAY 3 KUMASI
Visits to the museums which holds Relics of the Ashanti’s over the ages. A visit to the famous Kente weaving town of Bonwire where the fabric is said to have been born and to old Tafo  where we assist in the textile stamping for funerals. Adinkra, The dyed stamped fabric for funerals with symbols that signifies proverbs in the Akan tribe.

 DAY 4  KUMASI – WA
We will transfer ourselves to the northern part of the country, a days drive on the Caravan rout used by the Arabs in their trade from Timbuktu which links the silk rout from China. There are two old  Sudanese styled mosques which are evidence of the passage.

DAY 5 WA
Early morning visit to the LOBI territory who build very fortified houses. The ladies wear discs on their lips at least in the past. The Lobis are also noted for their xylophone playing which is linked with the dead. We will attend to a Xylophone concert.

DAY 6 WA
We will visit Wa  town today including the royal Palace which built in Sudanese style, then we continue to the neighbors of the Lobis [the DAGARTIS] who lives about 40km north of the capital Wa. Free afternoon for shopping and visit to the Lobi market.

DAY 7 WA – BOLGATANGA
Transfer to Bolgatanga through the land of Sissala and the Gurunsi and we arrive in the late afternoon to visit the basket  and the straw market in Bolga.

 DAY 8 BOLGATANGA
We will be visiting the Talensi  who build LABYRINTH homes which made it at least very difficult for slave raiders  in those days to capture these population, and then to the oracle which had been protecting the Talensi’s till today. The GURUNSI men build the houses and the Women paint them beautifully. The painting does not only beautify the house but also carry the history of the family which is passed on to generations.

 DAY 9 BOLGA – TAMALE
We will leave the town very slowly in the late morning to SAKPULI the slave market in the north where slaves were bought band also washed in slave WELLS before being sold out, and in the afternoon we visit the homes and villages of the DAGOMBAS.

DAY 10 TAMALE--YENDI –TAMALE
We leave for Yendi to visit the WITCHES villages. We will visit these poor ladies and gents who are accused of witch craft in their villages of origins, whenever there are mis happenings in their community.

DAY 11  TAMALE – KUMASI
We drive down to Kumasi, the garden city of the Ashanti for an overnight.

DAY 12  KUMASI – AKOSSOMBO
The road takes us down to Akossombo through the land of the krobo, BEADS making is the main profession of these people since they still initiate their young Females at puberty. We will visit the beads making home industries which has a very high competition on the area. The beads market is the biggest in tropical Africa.

DAY 13 AKOSSOMBO – GEMI
Ewe is one of the largest spoken languages in West Africa through three countries of GHANA ,TOGO , AND BENIN with a very rich culture. We will visit the only Ewe museum in West Africa in Ho the capital of the Ewe in Ghana. In the afternoon we will visit a very authentic voodoo shrine at Xavi.

DAY 14 GEMI – WLI – AKOSSOMBO
With about 45minutes walk after a short drive from our hotel  through the virgin forest we will arrive at the most famous waterfall in the Volta Region which is the highest in the sub region. In the afternoon , Navigation on the largest man made lake Volta .

DAY 15 AKOSSOMBO – ACCRA [PARTENZA]
We drive back to Accra to visit the African metropolis which has a very educative museum on all Africa. The FANTASSY coffin makers with their elaborate art in coffin making of any form e.g. CACAO,BOATS, PINEAPPLES, FISH, LOBSTERS, CRABS, COW , ELEPHANTS etc. The artisan market has more to offer from hand woven fabric like the Kente cloth in many and different colors.
Last shower and transfer to the Airport for departure
