DAY 1  ARRIVAL
Arrival and transfer to hotel

DAY 2   ACC – HO
We drive to Ho the Capital of the EWE through the land of the Krobo who still initiates their young Females at puberty. Since  beads are very essential for the rites, the population is very noted  for its production and sales. We will visit some production sites  and the market.

DAY 3  HO – GEMI
We will visit the museum of Ho in the morning and then proceed to XAVI for voodoo shrine .

DAY 4  GEMI – WLI – AKOSSOMBO
After a short drive through the virgin forest of the Ghana /Togo range, we will have a 45mn walk to the highest water fall in the sub region

DAY 5  AKOSSOMBO – KUMASI
We leave very early morning for Kumasi with a visit to the traditional building of Ejisu where the queen mother of Kumasi was said to have had powers to defeat the British in the YAA Asantewa war of 1900 in Kumasi.

DAY 6   KUMASI
We explore the garden city of Kumasi . we will visit the 2 museums which houses the relics of the Ashanti kings over the ages. The  market is one of the oldest in West Africa where Islamic traders from Timbuktu were trading and exchanging their salt with Cola Nuts, Gold , Ivory and spices from the forest region. The Kente weaving town of Bowire is also of good interest.

DAY 7  KUMASI – YENDI
Early departure from Kumasi for Yendi with stops and visiting the GONJA and the DAGOMBA villages.

DAY 8  YENDI—BOLGA
We drive for about half an hour and we are at the village of the WITCHES. These poor Ladies and Gentile men who were accused of witchcraft in their various villages but accepted in this lone and isolated  village of NGANI with an oracle which helps them. We continue the day in Bolgatanga in the north.

DAY 9  BOLGA
We rise up early to go to TONGO on the plateau tongo hills for the visit of Talensi LABYRINTH villages and also to the ORACLE which is believed to have helped the Talensis in the slavery era.
In the afternoon,  we visit the GURUNSI where the men build the houses and the Women paint the . The paintings are not only to beautify the houses but also carries the family history which is told to generations to come.

 DAY  10 BOLGA – WA
We transfer ourselves from the upper east to the upper west, the land of the LOBI.
 O/N UPLAND HOTEL

DAY  11  WA
An early morning visit  to the LOBI territory who build very fortified mud houses. Wealth is measured in the number of pots a woman has and the number of cows a man has. The women wore discs at least in the past. The Lobis are very much connected with the Xylophone which is connected with the dead. We will attend to a Xylophone concert.
 We have the afternoon to visit the rest of Wa , the capital of the Lobi.

DAY  12   WA – TECHIMAN
We will be driving today on the caravan route used by the Arab merchants when trade was flourishing in the great West African Empires with the forest regions.
We will stop and visit two mosques built in the Sudanese styles on the way.

DAY  13   TECH – KUMASI
Morning visit to the monkey sanctuary of BOABENG Fiamang in the Brong region where these monkeys live with humans in the locality and in the afternoon drive down to kumasi.

DAY 14  KUMASI --  ELMINA
We drive down to Anomabo through Kakum  forest for the canopy walk which one of its kind in West Africa.

DAY  15  ELMINA
We will visit the two great European settlement , the two castles of Elmina and Cape coast  which served as transit points for the slaves before being exported to the Americas and the Caribeans.

DAY 16  ELMINA—ACCRA
After a morning rest on the beach we will drive back to Accra.

  DAY 17 ACCRA   [PARTENZA]
We will  visit the metropolis  including the museum and the FANTASSY COFFIN makers and a last shower for transfer to the airport.
